Abstract

Developed through a participatory research process in Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, and Tunisia, the booklet of stories—Hidden Voices—reflects the lived experiences of 18 local women co-researchers and 85+ participants. These stories are a powerful call to action, pushing for gender-sensitive economic justice and supporting women’s autonomy and potential across the MENA region. We must amplify these voices and transform their resilience into a collective movement!

This research is part of the FemPawer program (Feminist Power in Action for Women’s Economic Rights), a consortium led by Kvinna till Kvinna. The program aims to strengthen the capacities of young women facing multiple forms of economic gender-based violence (E/GBV) to become leaders for change. The research was conducted by Recrear and Integrated in close coordination with Kvinna till Kvinna and its partners.
