Provision of resources and networking platforms to multiply the impact and reach of our programmes, and support civil society and youth-led dialogue initiatives. The Foundation pioneered the first “Education Handbook on Intercultural Citizenship”, involving in the 5-year production cycle more than 300 educators from southern Mediterranean and Europe. The “Translation Platform” connects innovative practice and key stakeholders in the ‘translation chain’ (publishers, authors, academics, libraries, foundations and private institutions). The Foundation coordinates MED FORUM, the largest civil society gathering and most influential process of its kind for intercultural dialogue across the Mediterranean, and facilitate large-scale Cross-Network Actions involving CSOs and youth associations. It also runs the Mediterranean Journalist Awards, the leading regional prize and recognition programme for cross-cultural reporting.
