We are a German registered society founded in 1963 in Hanover, Germany. Founder was the honorary consul of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan in Germany Kurt Uihlein, who still is honorary president of the society. We have about 300 paying members in all regions of Germany. We also have Regional Sections, such as Bavaria, Berlin and Lower Saxonia. We don’t have any employed staff; all activities are done on a honorary basis. All actions must be funded by the budgetary resources of member's fees. In case of Youth Exchanges we have to apply to official German supporters of Youth Exchanges, such as such as the German Foreign Office or private sponsors.
Encouraging intercultural awareness between European / German culture and Arab / Jordanian cultural spheres.
