Promote the contribution of all those scholars of social and economic sciences who believe in the potentials of an interdisciplinary approach;

Foster the internationalisation of research activities;
Interpreting the processes of change under way in society using the empirical methodology of the Anglo-Saxon tradition and frontier research in the behavioural and cognitive sciences.
The Foundation’s primary objective is to conduct fundamental and applied research activities in the economic, social and political fields, with particular attention to the public policies sector at a national and international level. Besides its inquiry-type objectives of an eminently academic nature, the Foundation
has taken on a role, over the years, as Think Tank for the principal government institutions of Italy and of Europe, to which it offers the possibility to share its knowledge and analyses.
Public administration and social policies, services and technological innovation, research and education, industry and finance, tourism and cultural assets, communication and media are the privileged areas of analysis of the Foundation.
