MISSION
We view ourselves neither as a research organization formulating alternative strategies in a vacuum, nor a service provider, but rather a catalyst for change through evidence-based advocacy supported throughout by direct links with communities and their realities.
STRATEGIC GOALS AND GENERAL OBJECTIVES
• Assist in identifying appropriate strategies and policies which particularly respond to the needs and rights of the most disadvantaged and marginalized groups in the areas of health, disability and environment.
• Raise awareness, initiate and promote dialogue, debate and analysis, and advocate issues related to the above through campaigning, dissemination of information and publications, convening meetings, training, etc.
• Develop and/or assist in the development of grassroots comprehensive interventions/models through which these strategies can be tested and evaluated, and lessons learned disseminated
• Help strengthening cooperation and coordination among the different stakeholders concerned with the above areas, particularly amongst civil society groups
