The organization Asd-Aps Whisky a go go is managed by Antonio Crisanti (Legal Representative) with nine collaborators, each having a specific role. The budget is derived from approximately 100-120 members, each contributing an average of 50 euros per month, totaling 5,000 euros monthly for eight months. This year, funding sources include the Municipality of Alcamo, and in 2021, the Ministry of Culture and the European Union for various partnered projects. The projects range from live performances to dance, theater, and music workshops, talk shows, and school projects. Key partners are third-sector associations, public entities, and schools.

Mission and Objectives

The mission of the Asd-Aps Whisky a Go Go organization is to pursue civic, solidarity, and social utility objectives without a profit motive. The association aims to promote social, cultural, and amateur sports activities, including educational activities for the initiation, updating, and improvement of sports activities. The primary objectives include:
Promotion of Amateur Sports: Organizing and managing amateur sports activities, especially dance sports like classical dance, contemporary dance, hip hop, Latin American, and Caribbean dances.
Cultural and Recreational Activities: Organizing cultural and recreational activities of social interest, including editorial activities to promote culture and volunteerism.
Educational Activities: Providing educational and cultural activities with an educational purpose, aiming to prevent school dropout, promote academic success, prevent bullying, and combat educational poverty.
Community Engagement: Promoting and organizing extracurricular training courses to guide young people towards knowledge and learning activities to facilitate their integration into work and community activities.
Social Tourism and Leisure: Organizing social and youth tourism activities in collaboration with other organizations to promote the knowledge of cultural, historical, and scenic places, as well as traditional popular customs and study holidays.

Main Projects / Activities

1. Concorso Danzalcamo
"Danzalcamo" is an international dance competition held annually, serving as a significant event for young dancers, choreographers, and dance enthusiasts aged 16 to 30. The competition has provided training, workshops, and performance opportunities on prestigious stages, helping many participants progress in the entertainment industry.

2. Festival Internazionale di Danza
The "International Dance Festival" is a project supported by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, the Sicily Region, and the Municipality of Castellammare del Golfo. It offers workshops and performances, allowing young participants to enhance their artistic and relational skills through interaction with professionals in the field.
3. Kapacitating2youth
Funded by Erasmus+, this project aims to equip youth workers with skills to improve their efficiency and quality of work. It focuses on developing key competencies, empowering youth workers, and fostering transnational cooperation. The association participated in this project but was not a partner.
4. Moving Forward in Europe with Volunteering
Co-financed by the European Union's Europe for Citizens Programme, this project promotes democratic engagement and civic participation. It involves various activities to enhance volunteering and community involvement across Europe. The association participated in this project but was not a partner.
5. Music Moving Youth
Part of the Erasmus+ KA2 action, this project fosters the exchange of best practices and skill development among young people, music professionals, and cultural associations. It emphasizes the intersection of youth, music culture, and sustainability. The association participated in this project but was not a partner.
6. Per le vie del Corso
This cultural event in Alcamo showcases the city's artistic, cultural, and creative potential through various art forms. It includes educational and cultural activities for different age groups, live performances, and guided tours, all aimed at enhancing the local community's cultural heritage.
7. Life Long Moving Poland
An Erasmus+ funded project focusing on body awareness and movement-based approaches to lifelong learning. It aims to improve well-being, creativity, and professional productivity through physical and mental exercises. The association participated in this project but was not a partner.
8. Tutti dallo stesso mare
This project, conducted on the boat Mediterranea, involves young migrants in artistic activities to foster integration and emotional expression. It is part of the Mibact Migrarti Spectacol 2018 initiative.
9. Arte in movimento
Funded by the Municipality of Alcamo, this project includes theater and dance workshops, language courses, and culinary events. It targets young people and families in economic difficulty, promoting creativity, cultural diversity, and social inclusion through various artistic and educational activities.
