“Loesje Palestine believes in the Power of Posters.”
The group was inspired from the Loesje International in 2011. It gathers people who want to make the world a more positive creative. All activities and contribution based on voluntary work of the affiliated members.
Loesje Palestine focus on the following thematic topics:
- Promote for freedom of expression
- Increase the youth participation
- Train on human rights education
- Provide youth with creative tools
- Enhance intercultural learning
The activities are based on a humanistic value base, which means believing in the power of people and solidarity between people and refrain from social exclusion.
In the years (2014 to 2016); the group organized a several series of creative text writing workshops with different themes that outreached more than 650 young people/youth workers.
Also, the group provided 141 opportunities for young people, youth workers, activists, journalists, and community workers across 20 European and South Mediterranean countries to participate in capacity building training and intercultural exchanges.
In 2017; the group is cooperating with 3 main partners to develop long-run projects that have international and local activity plans.
the members of Loesje Palestine are active in the youth work, educational training, and community mobilization.
Some members are cooperating with ALF through regional projects, and some were trained by ALF in international TC or TOT in intercultural learning and dialogue.
Loesje Palestine can offer local and national workshops on several topics such: advocacy, participation, intercultural citizenship education, employability, and critical thinking topics and tools.
We aim to be part of the national network in Palestine to help the process of exchange knowledge and experiences in the field of intercultural exchange.
