Our organization comprises over 70 legal professionals, including lawyers, law students, and social science students. We operate without an annual budget, relying solely on self-generated funding from small financing projects. Our primary activities include conducting awareness seminars and educational workshops focused on university-level legal subjects and various laws, with the aim of promoting legal awareness and enhancing the skills of individuals in the legal field.
Our organization is committed to enhancing legal awareness among Lebanese citizens by educating them about their rights and responsibilities and fostering a deeper appreciation for Lebanon's rich history and cultural heritage. Our primary objective is to support law students in their academic and professional journeys. We offer assistance in understanding complex legal concepts, facilitate their integration into the community to expand their social networks, and provide guidance for internships in law firms and preparation for legal profession entrance exams. Additionally, we aim to elevate public understanding of the judiciary's role in peacefully resolving disputes. By addressing and alleviating any apprehensions about engaging with the legal system, we encourage citizens to pursue justice and seek protection through appropriate legal avenues when needed.
Over 70 law students globally are grouped into specialized teams to engage in a range of activities aimed at enhancing their legal skills and knowledge. These activities include legal writing training, remote collaborative projects, workshops, and seminars that cover topics such as citizenship, civil state, and electoral law. Our operations span Lebanon and focus on different legal themes each month. Additionally, we have a dedicated group that meets monthly to analyze and discuss legal literature, further enriching our members' understanding and expertise in the field.
I can contribute to the Network in Lebanon by leveraging my expertise to enhance legal awareness and support for law students. I would assist in developing and delivering educational programs that elucidate legal rights, responsibilities, and the judiciary's role, while also facilitating law students' academic and professional growth through targeted resources, internships, and exam preparation. Additionally, I can contribute to community engagement initiatives and create educational materials to demystify the legal process, aiming to alleviate public apprehensions and promote informed, confident participation in the legal system.

ALF’s commitment to promoting intercultural dialogue aligns closely with our mission to enhance legal and cultural awareness in Lebanon.
