FYO is a newly established organization operating in Chouf, Lebanon. Our main is to empower youth through various activities, trainings, workshops and dialogues locally and internationally through Erasmus programs. The organization has 4 staff employed and between 20/25 active youth volunteers.
Since we are newly established, the resources are limited depending on the donors and calls.
As mentioned, the sources of funding are limited, it depends on each project and programs.
We have worked on several projects in order to empower women and youth in Chouf area, and we have participated in several workshops and trainings with other INGO and NGO operating in Lebanon. Additionally, we will organize and exchange program in March/April 2025 to Cyprus under Erasmus programs.

3. Stimulate positive outcomes for communities, especially the young population.
4. Improve career and livelihood opportunities.

6. Advocate for intercultural dialogue regionally and globally.
7. Secure support to enhance youth leadership strengths.
8. Provide avenues for community development and awareness.
1. We organized an awareness session and a training day to more than 60 people in Chouf are in order to empower women to participate in the political life as part of advocacy and gender equality with the collaboration of Madanyat for Equality in Lebanon.
2. We have worked with IAYSP in Lebanon in several peace building projects whether in Beirut or Chouf area involving youth in these projects, additionally we have participated in the Youth Peace Conference with IAYSP in Beirut.
3. We have collaborated with Mentor Arabia to train 6 facilitators from our organization on the healthy lifestyle topic. This topic will be conducted by those facilitators in schools and youth centers in Chouf area starting September 2024.
4. We have participated in several training programs with Forum ZFD and Steps Consultancy Firm in Lebanon on topics related to peace, gender equality, and conflict sensitivity.
5. We are working with external partners from EU on Erasmus exchange projects as part of cultural exchange programs between Lebanon and other countries.
As a newly formed organization operating in Chouf area, a rural area, our main aim is to empower youth. We have more than 20 active youth volunteers under FYO.
We are trying to increase our network in Lebanon and abroad. But so far, we have different partners ( NGOs/ INGOs/ informal groups) working with us in different projects in our community to have a positive impact.

ALF Network will allow us to increase our network not only in Lebanon but also abroad. It will allow us also to broaden our connections, activities and projects with similar NGOs to have a positive influence in our community. Additionally, ALF Network will give us the opportunity to participate in several projects and to work on different exchange programs especially in the Euro-Mediterranean countries.
