Dalenda Largueche is a historian, specialized in women and gender studies. She is the founder of a Master on « Gender, Culture and Society ». Pr. Largueche has published numerous publications on women and gender issues, her last book is « Monogamy in Islam : the Kairouanian marriage contract ». She is former General Director of the Tunisian Center for Research, Studies, Documentation and Information on Women (CREDIF ).

Dalenda Largueche is also an activist in the field of women rights, she has actively participated to the set up and the growth of the Tunisian democratic women movement. She is working constantly to ensure democracy, human rights and women’s rights in post-revolution Tunisia.
