An international touring Painting exhibition curated and assembled by the Royal Society of Fine Arts of Jordan and the Pan-Mediterranean Women Artists Network F.A. M (Femme –Art –Méditerranée) based in Greece.It included 70 artworks by 51 female artists from 21 Muslim-majority Countries: Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Malaysia, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates and Yemen.

The purpose of the exhibition was to break the stereotyping of women in Islam and to show the output of gifted women artists: Muslims, Christians. Buddhists and Hindu, who live within Islamic civilization and have contributed to humanity’s cultural heritage.

The exhibition carries a message of peace, enlightenment, and compassion.The exhibition opened in Rhodes, Greece in 2002 under the patronage of her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah of Jordan and toured for 10 years around the world hosted by the numerous museums, cultural and educational institutions as well as international Organizations such as the Benaki Museum in Athens, UNESCO headquarters in Paris, the Vittoriano in Rome, the Palazzo Reale Napoli, the Neumunster Abbey Luxembourg, the Modern Art Museum in Valencia, the Kennedy Center in Washington, the Clinton Foundation, the Yale University and many more.
